The College of Engineering, at Anna University has a sprawling campus that is well-maintained and provides a serene environment for learning. College of Engineering Residential Accommodation
The College of Engineering hostels were established to provide exemplary student welfare services. Emphasizing transparent administration, the hostel has developed robust systems, procedures, and regulations to ensure effective management. Over time, CEG Hostels has implemented and refined these systems to prioritize the welfare of its students, operating under direct institutional oversight. Comprising 22 blocks situated on the CEG campus, the hostel provides accommodation for both male and female students, with 14 blocks designated for boys and 8 for girls.
College of Engineering, Anna University Library
The University Library, established in 1978 and granted autonomy in December 2000, is housed in a three-story building on the eastern side of the main campus, covering approximately 4122 square meters. Surveillance is ensured through 30 strategically placed cameras within the library premises. Additionally, the MIT campus features its library spanning an area of 1256 sq.m. Serving approximately 10,157 registered users, the library offers various knowledge-based services, including reference assistance, bibliographic support, access to MALIBNET and DELNET networks, reprography facilities, internet browsing, and electronic resources.
College of Engineering Medical Services and Health Center
The Health Centre caters to the medical needs of students and staff across the university. Providing healthcare services to approximately 15,000 students, 1,300 research scholars, and 11,000 staff members, along with their families, the center offers specialty consultations in Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Diabetology, Gynecology, ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat), Pediatrics, and Orthopedics weekly at the Main Campus. At the MIT Campus, specialty clinics in ENT, Dermatology, Orthopedics, and Ophthalmology are offered weekly. The physiotherapy clinic operates from Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm at the Main Campus and from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm at the MIT Campus, catering to the rehabilitation needs of patients. With an average daily footfall of about 200 patients, the Health Centre plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of the university community.
