Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) was set up in 2008. It is an autonomous Central University. The campus is spread over 25 acres. Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi is dedicated to the direction of Sustainable Development Goals as well. In aid of the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development Goals, the Institute hosts an Annual Conclave to create a public platform to speak about using data era for the sustainable improvement of the country-wide capital region.
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi is an accredited 'A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and Has been accorded 12-B popularity through the University Grants Commission.
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi has consistently maintained a commendable ranking in the field of engineering education. According to the NIRF rankings for the year 2022, IIIT Delhi secured an overall rank of 151 out of 200 colleges in India. In the same year, IIIT Delhi's B.Tech program was ranked 69th out of 300 colleges nationwide. IIT-Delhi has a constructed area of 100,000 square meters. Admissions to the various courses offered by IIIT Delhi are conducted based on the eligibility criteria specified for each course, followed by the entrance score or merit in the respective examination. The IIIT Delhi admission process includes the following:
IIIT Delhi BTech Admission: Candidates interested in pursuing a BTech program at IIIT Delhi are selected based on their eligibility criteria and the score/merit obtained in the entrance examination.
IIIT Delhi Ph.D. Admission: For candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. program at IIIT Delhi, eligibility requirements and their performance in the entrance examination are conducted by the institute.
IIIT Delhi MTech Admission: The MTech program at IIIT Delhi admits candidates based on their eligibility criteria and the score/merit obtained in the IIIT Delhi entrance examination.
IIIT Delhi Postgraduate Diploma Admission: Admission to the postgraduate diploma programs at IIIT Delhi is determined by the eligibility criteria specified for each program and the performance in the entrance examination conducted by the institute.
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi offers diverse scholarships and fellowships to UG, PG, and Ph.D. students.
