The college was established in 1975 to cater to the needs of young students desirous of pursuing legal education in Bangalore.
The K.L.E. Society’s Law College at Bangalore has been conceived as a nursery and training ground for those seeking to enter the legal profession. Under the auspices of Karnataka Lingayat Education Society, the college was founded in 1975to meet the needs of young students wishing to pursue legal studies in Bangalore.
The KLE Law College has been recognized by the Bar Council of India as one of the top five law schools in the country. Facilities and Infrastructure
Library:
The library is a Temple of Knowledge. The library is housed with 20684 volumes of Books and Back volumes. Of these, 3334 are old volumes of Diaries and Reporters. The Library buys 64 periodicals, including 10 newspapers. Among them, 14 are journalists, 22 are from newspapers and the rest are from magazines. To meet the needs of tech friends and enjoy the fruits of technology, all books and reference works are equipped with a barcode library automation, Easylib service, which provides OPAC (Open Public Access Catalog) to search the library for books, research materials, periodicals and to learn more about the library. The library also offers a photocopying service.
The in-house medical advisor is available on campus during office hours. The student fraternity is enrolled in the Vidyarthi (P) program - KLE Belgaum Health Care Services. The KLE Belgaum Healthcare Services program is established primarily to extend healthcare benefits to employees and students of KLE Society institutions. The health plan makes it possible to KLE
extend medical care for people in the event of illness or accident.
Auditorium:
The College has 3 auditoriums. The main auditorium with a capacity of 400, Sharada Sabhangana with a capacity of 180, and Asha Kirana with a capacity of 90 people. All auditoriums are fully computerized with high-tech facilities ideal for organizing and supporting training programs, meetings, workshops, and conferences.
