Founded in 1956 in New Delhi by the late Lala Shri Ram in memory of his wife Phoolan Devi (Lady Shri Ram). Lady Shri Ram college offers UG and PG courses in many departments including IT, English, Economics, etc. A total of 25 courses are offered by the LSR college in the UG and PG programs.

The college is now located in a 5-acre (20,000 m2) campus in Lajpat Nagar in South Delhi.[1]
