In 2009, JGU began its first academic session with the establishment of India’s first global law school. JGLS is committed to providing global legal education to its students. To fulfil this objective, the curriculum and pedagogy is designed to give extensive exposure to students to domestic, international and comparative law courses.
Best Law College in Gurgaon, Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), Haryana is India’s first Global Law School that exclusively offers Law Programs in Haryana. This Law School is affiliated to Jindal Global University (JGU) and it’s one of the parts of its 9 Schools. JGLS Haryana provides Law Programmes for UG and PG including the combining Law Programmes like Arts and Business Administration. The courses offered by the college are B.A. LL.B., LL.B, BBA LL.B., B.A., and LL.M., etc. JGLS’s BA in Legal Studies course is the first programme of its kind in Indian Academia. It also modulates a special Ph.D. Program on various types of research. JGLS, Haryana conducts admission through Entrance Examinations like LSAT - India, JSAT - India, and CLAT - PG. Admission to the Jindal Global Law School will strictly depend upon their merit and performance in such entrance examinations. Jindal Global Law School has the largest and most prolific faculties compared to other law schools in India. Most of these faculty members of JGLS, Haryana have passed out from famous colleges and universities of India and hold degrees from foreign universities as well. The college has more than 150 active faculty members, and many of these members carry PhD degrees from different recognized International universities.

Student Housing and Dining: The University has several premium housing complexes for students situated in different blocks. The buildings are beautifully decorated and framed with amazing French Architecture. There is also the dining facility adjunct to the accommodation.
Library:The institute has a Global Library occupying 10,000 sq ft. The Library consists of 48,000 printed books inclusive of various monographs, research reports, law reports, and journals. The library also includes a number of electronic materials and resources for the betterment of the candidates.
Student Recreation: Recreation centres are in various blocks of the University campus. The Common rooms consist of several refreshments and games such as Snookers, Table Tennis, Pool table, and Movie screens to name a few.
Medical Facilities:The institution modulates permanent Health care for all students. This large Health Care embraces separate male and female wards, consultation rooms, physiotherapy treatment rooms, counselling rooms, meditation rooms, and sample collection rooms. This Health Care occupies a space of 3500 sq ft.
Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), Haryana invites applications to the candidates on the basis of merit. While some admissions are conducted on the basis of marks in the previous qualifying exam, some are done on the score in the entrance exams.

The followings are the major steps involved in the application:Jindal Global Law School offers a range of undergraduate and graduate scholarships in order to recognize and reward meritorious academic achievement. All scholarships awarded at JGLS are to be construed in the nature of a privilege, awarded to outstanding students and are subject to the resources available to O.P. Jindal Global (Institution of Eminence Deemed To Be University). Accordingly, the scholarships should be distinguished from grants/fee concessions, and cannot be requested by all students as a matter of right.
Every year various reputed National and Multinational companies visit the college to offer placement opportunities in their company to qualified students in several designations. JGLS also regulates a separate Training and Professional Development Team to prepare the students for placement by conducting various Training programs including Skills improvement.
Jindal Global Law School, Sonepat final year students of its three-year and five-year LLB programs graduating this year have secured a total of 83 jobs, including 29 jobs with Big 7 law firms, though its batch sizes have continued increasing. A total of 54 students joined Indian law firms, while 23 joined litigation chambers, and 6 will be working in-house. Out of 395 graduates of the 5 and 3 years LLB programs, 88 students participated in the formal campus placement activities. Some of the top recruiters are Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, L&L, Khaitan & Co., Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Trilegal and AZB & Partners.
