Academic programmes The University offers UG & PG degree programmes in the three faculties while Ph.D. programme is offered only in Veterinary Sciences. The Veterinary Council of India prescribed curriculum for B.V.Sc & A.H course was adopted in the year 1994 and has been updated as per 2008 and then 2016 VCI regulations.

Selection in all the bachelor’s courses will be done on the basis of an entrance examination of Andhra Pradesh called EAMCET.

The SVVU has its Placement cell which ensures that the students get placed in suitable companies, at suitable positions. The 2019 session of SVVU concluded with a record of 80%. The companies which come to the campus of SVVU are Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, etc.
