As of last year, there were 19 students who had successfully completed the internship program and two were still undergoing it. The tuition fee for this course is Rs. 21,400 for First Year and Rs. 19,400 for Second Year. Additional charges are levied for the hostel if there is a requirement.

The course is divided into two parts - theory and practice. The theory part of the diploma course deals with the chemical properties of Ayurvedic medicines. The practice part of the diploma course deals with the production and consumption of medicines. Students will gain knowledge about ayurvedic formulations, pharmaceutical manufacturing, dosage formulation, quality control, and Ayurvedic raw materials. Seminars and discussions are held in which students have imparted knowledge. They will also be exposed to case studies.

The course is a two-year diploma course. Candidates must have passed their 10+2 in the relevant stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate. The course will cover the different components of Ayurveda and the various methods and applications of Ayurveda. Students who complete the course will be capable of managing raw materials and dispensing Ayurvedic medicines in hospitals. The graduates will typically find jobs in hospitals, Ayurveda centers, and pharmaceutical companies.
