The examination usually consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering various dental subjects. To secure admission to MDS programs, candidates must obtain a qualifying score in NEET MDS.
Application Process: Once NEET MDS results are announced, eligible candidates can start applying for MDS courses. Most dental colleges in India participate in the counseling process conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) or state authorities. Candidates need to register on the official counseling website and submit their preferences for colleges and specializations.
Counseling and Seat Allotment: The counseling process involves multiple rounds, including online registration, choice filling, and seat allotment. Candidates must choose their preferred colleges and specializations during this process. Seats are allocated based on merit, NEET MDS scores, and candidates' choices.
