Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is an entrance exam conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani for admission to undergraduate engineering courses (BE) at its three campuses located in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. Candidates are admitted to BE, BPharm and MSc programmes every year after qualifying the entrance exam. The entrance exam is conducted online and around 3 lakh students apply for it every year.

The BITSAT exam 2026 application process will start in the 3rd week of January 2026 with the availability of the application form. The candidates will be able to apply in the online mode for Session I or both sessions up to the 4th week of April 2026. There will be a correction window in the 1st week of May 2026 and the test city will be allotted in the 2nd week of May. From the 3rd week of May, the applicants can book their test date and slot and the BITSAT 2026 admit card will be issued from the 3rd week of May till the exam date. Session I of BITSAT 2026 will be conducted in the 4th week of May 2026.
As for Session II, the BITSAT 2026 registration process will be launched in the 1st week of June 2026, and the application form may also be opened for editing in the 2nd week of June. In the 2nd week of June, the test city for Session II will be allotted and the candidates will be able to book their exam date and time slot from the 3rd week of June. The admit card for Session II will be available until the exam in the 4th week of June, throughout June 2026. The admission application process will take place through June 2026, and the candidates will be able to access the preference forms for editing in the 1st week of July 2026. The allotment of the admit list and the waitlist after Iteration I will be made in the 2nd week of July 2026.

The step-by-step process to fill out the BITSAT 2026 application form is given below:
Step 1: Visit the BITSAT website online (link is given above).
Step 2: Click on the “Click Here” link on the homepage.
Step 3: Select the “Register” button and register yourself.
Step 4: Enter the required information to register for the exam and proceed to fill the form.
Step 5: Fill in the educational qualification, contact details, personal details, etc. in the space provided.
Step-6: Now upload the required documents in a specific format.
Step 7: Pay the prescribed amount of application fee using the available facility.
Step 8: Double-check the information filled in the BITSAT 2026 form and press the “Submit” button.
Step 9: Take a hardcopy of the form for further use in admission.
The BITSAT 2026 correction facility will be available online for a limited period of time. Candidates who have applied for the exam will be able to make corrections in their registration form. No offline facility will be available for form correction.
The BITSAT 2026 application correction will begin from April 2026. During the edit window, candidates can make corrections only in certain sections. After the edit window closes, no corrections will be possible.

The first session of the BITSAT 2026 admit card will be published in May 2026. The aspirants of the BITSAT examination who have completed the registration process will be able to download the admit card after they have logged into the website. There is also an offline method of downloading the BITSAT 2026 admit card from the website which will be available.
To generate the BITSAT 2026 admit card, candidates must first complete the online slot booking process. Information such as exam centre, date, time, exam day guidelines, name, roll number, etc. will be available on the admit card.
The BITSAT 2026 result is expected to be declared in June 2026. Through the BITSAT scores, candidates will be able to check their marks and rank obtained in the exam. The BITSAT 2026 result will be downloaded in the form of a scorecard. Candidates who qualify the exam will be eligible to participate in the further counselling process.
Candidates are advised to preserve the hardcopy of the result for further use for admission. Online facility to download the result will be available from the website of BITS, Pilani.
The BITSAT 2026 cut-off will be released online. This is the minimum number that is required for a student to get admission to various courses in the university. Applicants can check the cut-off from the website.
Admission to BITS campuses will be based on the merit of the candidates in the BITSAT 2026 exam and the qualifying exam. Candidates who qualify the exam will be able to apply for further counselling.

The BITSAT 2026 counselling process will begin soon after the declaration of the results of both the sessions. Candidates who meet the cut-off criteria of the exam and also qualify will be allowed for BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campus counselling.
