BITSAT Exam 2024: Dates, Syllabus, and Important Information

BITSAT 2024: Introduction

BITSAT 2024 exam will be conducted in online mode and will consist of four sections, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology (for B.Pharm), and English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning. The exam lasts 3 hours and contains 130 multiple-choice questions. Candidates must refer BITSAT 2024 Syllabus and Paper Pattern. You get 3 marks for each correct answer and 1 negative mark for each wrong answer. The exam will be conducted over several days and candidates can choose their preferred exam date and time based on availability.

Students who have registered will be only able to download the BITSAT exam 2024 admit card after booking a slot. BITSAT 2024 slot booking process will be conducted in online mode. Candidates will have to carry the admit card of BITSAT 2024 at the exam centre.

What is the BITSAT Exam?

Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is a computer-based entrance test conducted by BITS Pilani for undergraduate engineering programs at Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa campuses. Admission to BITSAT-eligible candidates will be through a counselling process.

BITSAT results will also be announced on bitsadmission.com. Eligible candidates can participate in the counselling and seat selection process. Candidates will be selected based on their performance in BITSAT and those who fulfil the eligibility criteria will be called for counselling. Seats are allotted to students based on rank and availability of seats, during the counselling. BITS Pilani is known as one of the best engineering colleges in India and there is a lot of competition for admission is tough. Therefore, candidates must prepare well and score high in BITSAT to improve their admission chances.

The online tests are conducted at several exam centres in India and the Dubai campus.

1. The BITSAT 2024 exam will have Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency and logical reasoning, and Mathematics/Biology parts and is of three hours duration.
2. All questions will be multiple-choice questions (objective type) and based on the current NCERT syllabus.
3. Candidates can select the exam centre, and the date and time for the test, at his/her convenience.

BITS Pilani has completed the BITSAT 2024 application form process at bitsadmission.com. To appear in the 1st and 2nd session entrance exams, candidates had to fill and submit BITSAT Application Form 2024 before the extended deadline ie. on April 16, 2024. Applicants had to submit their personal, and academic details. and contact details. After the last date, no BITSAT 2024 registration application has been accepted by the authorities. The BITSAT 2024 application form is available only for the second session from 22 May to 10 June 2024.

BITSAT 2024: Application Form Correction Dates

Registered candidates can now access the BITSAT 2024 Application Correction Window for Session 1 Examination online till 22nd April 2024. Through the correction window, candidates can edit/correct the information previously submitted in the BITSAT 2024 application form. After the last date, candidates will not be able to make corrections. For the examination of the 2nd session, the reformatory is open from 11-12 June 2024.

BITSAT 2024: Slot Booking Dates

Registered candidates must reserve their desired seats for the BITSAT 2024 exam through the seat reservation process. As it is on a first-come, first-served basis, applicants are advised to reserve their place as soon as possible. BITSAT 2024 seats are to be reserved based on demand and availability. Separate seat reservations are open for different sessions.

BITSAT 2024: Admit Card/Hall Ticket Dates

Registered candidates can access and download the BITSAT 2024 Admit Card by logging in with the required credentials. BITSAT 2024 Hall Ticket is generated after booking the seats and contains important information for the candidate like exam date, timings, centre address and many more. Candidates must produce their BITSAT 2024 Admit Card while registering at the exam centre.

BITSAT 2024 will be held in two sessions - Session I (20-24 May 2024) and Session II (22-26 June 2024). The selection test is conducted as a computer test in different cities of the country. BITSAT is conducted by the authorities every year to select candidates for the participating campuses.

BITS Pilani will publish the BITSAT 2024 Results online. Candidates can download the result in the form of a BITSAT 2024 Scorecard. The marks and marks obtained in the entrance exam will be reflected in the BITSAT result.
