The Common University Entrance Test (UG) 2026 shall be conducted in May/June in computer-based test (CBT) mode, provisionally. Candidates applying for admission in undergraduate programs in prestigious universities like Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, Allahabad University, and other central, state, private, deemed, or government universities have to apply and sit for the CUET exam.
In order to appear for the CUET UG 2026 exam, candidates will have to apply through the official website of NTA- cuet.nta.nic.in. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to start CUET UG 2026 registration in the first week of March. Those students who have passed Class 12 or are appearing for Class 12 exams can apply. Interested students need to submit the online application form and pay the registration fee. While filling the CUET 2026 application form, the candidates must have the required documents at hand and choose maximum five CUET subjects, preferably the same subjects as studied in Class 12.
Presently, 217 universities consider CUET UG scores for admission. While submitting the application form, candidates need to verify course-wise subject mapping criteria of each university. The participating universities will publish their CUET cutoff list based on candidates' CUET NTA scores and percentiles. Candidates qualifying under the cutoff will be marked 'qualified' for admission.

Candidates who wish to appear for the CUET UG exam 2026 must fill up the CUET application form. Before registering, candidates must ensure that they meet the CUET eligibility criteria, otherwise their candidature will be cancelled. CUET UG 2026 application form has been released on 2nd January 2026 online for CUET PG. It will start from February 2026 and will continue till the first week of April 2026 for UG. Applications for CUET PG 2026 will be available till 1st February 2026.
The incomplete or incorrect application form is rejected, so candidates should fill it carefully and completely. Once the application form is submitted, candidates should proceed to submit the application fee as per their category.
In case of an error in the application details, the authority also provides the facility for correction. No correction will be allowed after the date of correction.

Practice questions will also be available for all languages and subjects. The CUET 2026 online mock exam will be available on the official exam website, where students can familiarise themselves with the navigation system. By taking the Free CUET mock test, candidates will become familiar with using the virtual keyboard and calculator, moving from question to question and between sections. To enhance their preparation, students should take mock exams published by institutes or experts, which will provide questions from actual sections with the likely difficulty level. In addition to taking the mock exam, it is also necessary to analyse it. After proper analysis, it is necessary to apply the key points from the analysis to prepare to pass the exam.

CUET 2026 Admit Card will be issued through online mode. Candidates will need to log in with their login credentials to download hall ticket. The CUET e-admit card will be provisionally issued by NTA. It will include all information like candidate's name, roll number, date of exam, time, center & exam instructions.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will publish the provisional CUET 2026 answer key. Provisional CUET answer key is the key document that holds the correct options or choices of answers along with marks put in by the candidates. Using answer keys and CUET response sheet, candidates were able to estimate their CUET scores prior to the announcement of the result. Contenders will have the option to object to the CUET UG 2026 official answer key by submitting payment for INR 200 per question. Candidate objections are verified by an expert panel. In case the objections are correct, the CUET answer key is updated accordingly. The CUET result 2026 will be created and announced considering the updated CUET UG 2026 final answer key.
