CUET UG 2025 result will be declared in the last week of July 2025 at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the CUET UG scorecard online when it is released. NTA will announce the CUET result 2025 after the release of the CUET answer key. The final answer key will mention the revised key based on the objections received. CUET final marks will be calculated based on the revised answer key. Candidates need to enter the application number and date of birth to download the NTA scorecard PDF. NTA will also share the subject-wise number of students who appeared in the exam, names of qualified candidates and toppers along with the CUET result 2025. NTA will conduct the CUET 2025 exam in CBT format most likely in May/June 2025.
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) evaluates a candidate's performance using two different measurements: CUET marks and CUET percentile. CUET marks refer to the candidate's total score based on the marking scheme of the exam. On the other hand, the CUET percentile represents the candidate's relative performance compared to other candidates in the same and different exam sessions. Colleges that accept CUET grant admission based on a candidate's CUET percentile or normalized score.
NTA uses the below formula to calculate the CUET percentile score after applying the normalization process:
Percentile = 100 * (number of candidates with equal or lower raw score) / (total number of candidates)
For example, if there are 1000 candidates who appeared in a session and 100 of them have a raw score equal to or less than yours, then your percentile would be 10%.
Percentile is a measure of how well you performed relative to other candidates who took CUET UG. It is a more accurate measure of your performance than your raw score, as it takes into account the difficulty of the exam and the performance of other candidates.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is anticipated to announce the CUET UG 2025 results in the last week of July 2025. Candidates who participate in the examination can access their scorecards online through the official NTA CUET UG website. To retrieve the scorecard, applicants will need to input their application number along with their date of birth or password. The scorecard will detail the marks obtained by each candidate, serving as a crucial document for admissions into various undergraduate programs. Following the release of results, individual universities and colleges will commence their respective counselling processes, during which the CUET scorecards will play a pivotal role in determining eligibility and merit for admission.

To know whether a candidate has passed the CUET 2025 exam or not, one needs to check the pass marks released by the universities. After the declaration of the CUET result, all universities will release the course-wise pass marks or the CUET UG cut-off mark, which will be used to shortlist candidates for admission to UG courses. The exact pass marks for CUET UG 2025 are yet to be officially announced. However, they vary depending on the university and the specific course. Generally, the minimum pass marks are expected to be between 300 and 400 of the total score. Some top-tier universities may have higher cut-off marks. It is essential to check the individual university's admission guidelines for the most accurate information.

The CUET normalisation process is applied to ensure that candidates are neither at an advantage nor at a disadvantage in terms of the level of difficulty of the examination conducted in various phases. The process is generally applied in state/national level entrance examinations for admission to undergraduate courses. In this process, candidates appearing for the CUET UG 2025 examination in all sessions are ranked on a comparative scale.
In the CUET normalisation process, the marks of the easier session may be marginally reduced and the marks of the difficult session may be marginally increased, depending on the average performance in each session. If there is no significant difference in the average of the two sessions, then there will be no significant difference in the normalisation marks. The percentile score is calculated up to 7 decimal places to avoid the clustering effect.
