The National Law University, Delhi, published the AILET 2026 exam notification on June 17, 2025, at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Registration for the AILET 2026 entrance exam will begin on August 1, 2025. Through AILET 2026, candidates will be able to apply for admission to the Bachelor's, Bachelor of Laws (Honours), Master of Laws (LLB), and Doctor of Law courses offered by the National Law University, Delhi. Only those candidates who meet the AILET 2026 eligibility criteria for their preferred course will be eligible to complete the application. Failure to do so will result in their application being rejected.

If you fall into the general category, you must have passed the Upper Secondary Education Examination (10+2) system or an equivalent exam, obtaining less than 45% of the total grade in the aggregate.
According to the AILET 2026 eligibility criteria, undergraduate programs have no upper or lower age limits.
There are 123 seats available for the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) program at the National Law University of Delhi. Of these, 10 are reserved for foreigners seeking direct admission to the five-year program.
Of the remaining 113 seats, 15% are reserved for SC students, 7.5% for ST students, and 3% for people with disabilities.

Candidates wishing to pursue the Master of Laws (LLM) program at NLU Delhi must meet the following AILET eligibility criteria:
Candidates who have earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or equivalent law degree with a 50% mark (45% for SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities). Candidates appearing for the final-year LL.B. annual examination are also eligible.
