AIPGMEE 2026 requires each candidate who passes the exam to attend multi rounds of counselling. The process of AIPGMEE 2026 includes rounds of counselling and final seat allocation. During these processes the seat is allocated on the basis of ranks, applicants’ choices and the number of available seats. For admission to postgraduate degree and diploma courses in India, there is a centralized counseling conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), which deals with the All India Quota and the respective state quota counselling. The decision on the various seats allocation once again depends on the merit achieved, the allotments made by the candidates as well as their caste.
