What is AP ECET Exam?

Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) is conducted annually by JNTU, Anantapur on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The exam is conducted to select Diploma holders of Engineering Technology/ Pharmacy and BSc Graduates for admissions under the lateral entry scheme to the 2nd year of BE/ BTech/ BPharmacy Programmes offered at Universities and AICTE/PCI approved Institutions in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

APECET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil the following AP ECET eligibility criteria mentioned below:

1. Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
2. Residence: Applicants must be residents of the state of Andhra Pradesh only.

APECET 2026 Exam Pattern and Structure

The APECET 2026 exam pattern will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), while the questions will be prepared on the subjects that are suitable for the candidate's specialization. APECET 2026 Counselling and Admission Process

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education will start the AP ECET 2026 counselling online on the official website. Eligible candidates will be able to register online for AP ECET counselling 2026. The AP ECET choice filling process will be conducted online. Colleges and courses must be selected in the order of preference. The AP ECET 2026 seat allotment will be announced in the login window.
