GCET 2025 Overview of the Syllabus

GCET 2025 Syllabus is confined to science streams, in particular Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. There will be some dissimilarities in the syllabus concerning which course a candidate seeks admission in (Engineering or Medical). The examination aims to evaluate the student’s knowledge, problem-solving abilities and core understanding. To that end, the student’s knowledge will be the focus of evaluation.

Two of the subjects students have to take up in Class 12 is Physics, Chemistry along with Mathematics for engineering students whereas Biology substitutes Mathematics for students willing to attend Medical sciences. For classes 11 and 12, NCERT books are the guidelines then the candidates have all the basis covered.

GCET 2025 exam comprises of questions that are in the Multiple choice questions format from Physics, Chemistry and Biology for Medical and Physics, Chemistry Mathematics for Engineering. And the total number of questions with the examination period will be:
