The application form is filled out by the 2 methods.

  1. Online method: Online registration forms can be completed for a fee of INR 1500. You can use a credit or debit card to make the payment.
  2. Offline method: To register offline, candidates had to download the form, fill it out completely, and mail it to the Geeta Institute of Law at GT Road, Karhans, Samalkha, Panipat. They also had to send a demand draft for INR 1500, payable at Panipat, to the Geeta Institute of Law.

Filling out the GLAT 2024 application form can seem like a time-consuming task, but it's quite simple. Here are the steps you can follow to fill out the form:

GLAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to appear for the GLAT exam must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

Undergraduate Courses:

  1. Educational Qualification: A minimum qualification for the GLAT exam is class 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates).

  2. Age Limit: Candidates must not be more than 20 years of age as of 1 July 2024 (22 years for SC/ST candidates).

GLAT Exam Pattern 2024

The GLAT exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions that are to be completed in 2 hours. The test is divided into four sections - Legal Aptitude, English Language, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning. Each correct answer carries one mark and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Section-wise distribution of questions is as follows:

GLAT 2024 Day Guidelines

Here are some important GLAT 2024 day guidelines:

  1. Reporting Time: students must report to the exam centre a minimum 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time. Candidates who report after the scheduled exam time will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
  1. Admit Card: Candidates must carry a printout of their GLAT 2024 admit card to the exam centre. The admit card contains important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre details, and exam timings. Candidates without the admit card will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
  1. Valid ID Proof: Candidates must carry a valid photo identity proof such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID card, driver's license, or passport to the exam centre. The ID proof must be original, valid, and non-expired.
  1. Prohibited Items: Candidates are not allowed to carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, or smartwatches to the exam centre. Candidates are advised to leave these items at home or in their vehicles. Any candidate found in using these items inside the exam hall will be disqualified.
  1. Exam Pattern: students must be aware of the exam pattern and marking scheme before appearing for the exam. GLAT 2024 will be a computer-based test consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The duration of the exam will be 2 hours, and the total number of questions will be 100. Each correct answer will carry 1 mark, and there will be no negative marking.

Legal Aptitude: Legal principles, Legal reasoning, Constitution of India, Indian Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Indian Evidence Act, Contract Act, Torts, Family Law, Property Law, Intellectual Property Law.

English Language: Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms, Analogies, Spelling Mistakes, Idioms and Phrases, Sentence Correction, Grammar, Comprehension.

General Knowledge: Current Affairs, History, Geography, Science, Technology, Politics, Economics, Sports, Awards and Honours, Books and Authors.

Logical Reasoning: Analytical Reasoning, Logical Deduction, Number Series, Letter Series, Odd Man Out, Blood Relations, Syllogisms, Coding-Decoding, Direction Sense, Ranking, Data Sufficiency.
