GMAT 2026 Exam Syllabus

The GMAT 2026 syllabus, specifically for the GMAT Focus Edition, consists of three sections: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Data Insights. Each section takes 45 minutes, making it a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes of test time. The test targets assessing skills applicable to business and management programs.

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is also popularly known as the most accepted and liked exam for graduate business school admissions. The GMAT 2026 syllabus stipulates the different topics that will be examined for the test.

The GMAT syllabus for the GMAT Focus Edition differs from the GMAT syllabus for the current exam. AWA (Analytical Writing Assessment) and SC (Sentence Correction) have been removed. Additionally, a new section called Data Insights (DI) has been published, based on IR (Integrated Reasoning) and also includes DS (Data Sufficiency). GMAT Exam Syllabus 2026: Overview

The GMAT Focus Edition syllabus is divided into three sections, which total 2 hours and 15 minutes. The GMAT Focus Edition syllabus includes several topics distributed over the given sections:

The GMAT Focus Edition syllabus differs from the current GMAT syllabus. AWA (Analytical Writing Assessment) and SC (Sentence Correction) have been removed from the GMAT exam syllabus of the Focus Edition. GMAT Quantitative Reasoning Syllabus

The Quantitative Section consists of a total of 21 questions which are to be answered within 45 45-minute time duration. The questions will be objective type and will consist of multiple-choice answers. In the GMAT Quantitative section of Focus Edition, there are Problem-Solving questions that assess the candidates' abilities to apply logic and analytical reasoning to solve quantitative problems.
