IBSAT stands for ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test. It is a national-level computer-based entrance exam conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education for admission to MBA programs. Candidates can also apply with CAT, NMAT, XAT or GMAT scores. The selection process of IBSAT includes a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI) for shortlisted candidates.
ICFAI Business School will commence the IBS 2024 selection procedure in February/March 2025 for presentation and personal interviews. Candidates who cleared the IBSAT 2024 can secure their preferred date and time slot for the Micro Presentation and PI rounds, to be held at the IBS Campus. Additionally, the same privilege is extended to candidates who are exempted from IBSAT based on their CAT, GMAT, XAT, and NMAT by GMAC scores. According to the latest notification released by the IBS, selected candidates must attend the presentation round instead of GD. The Micro presentation is an IBSAT selection procedure to analyse the communication skills, presentation skills and ability to think quickly and effectively of the candidate in any situation. The general time allotted for the presentation is four minutes, ie. 1 minute for the preparation and three minutes for delivering the presentation.

To get shortlisted on the merit list, candidates must clear both stages of the IBS selection process. Candidates who clear the IBSAT 2024 exam will be called to participate in the Presentation and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Passing the IBSAT 2024 entrance exam does not guarantee admission to the candidates. Candidates have to qualify for the presentation and PI rounds which will be held by the ICFAI Business School.

After the IBSAT 2024 result is announced, all nine campuses of the IBSAT will release the IBSAT cutoff individually. To be eligible to appear in the selection rounds i.e. Micro presentation and Personal Interview (PI), candidates must score minimum marks.
The IBSAT 2024 cut-off will be announced by the ICFAI Business School online mode. To qualify for the next stages of the selection process, candidates must score the minimum marks in the IBSAT 2024 exam.
Those candidates who will clear the minimum IBS cut-off will be admitted to ICFAI Business School. The scores of IBSAT will be accepted by IBS campuses all across India and each of them will have its cut-off for admission procedure.
After the release of the IBSAT 2024 cutoff, shortlisted candidates will be called for IBSAT counselling at the IBS Hyderabad campus. The selection process for IBS 2024 includes the IBSAT entrance exam, presentation and personal interview. Selected candidates can get admission to the institute.
IBSAT 2024 counselling is conducted for every candidate who is eligible for the exam. It is arranged through online mode. Shortlisted candidates will go through group discussions and personal interviews.
Seats will be filled based on their IBSAT written test, Micro Presentation personal interview and the availability of seats. Candidates must also carry important documents for verification. After the IBS 2024 selection process is over, the ICFAI Business School will publish the final merit list of the shortlisted candidates. Based on all the achievements or performance of the candidate, IBS will publish the merit list. The final admission criteria for the selection process are different for each of the nine IBS campuses.

The IBSAT 2024 merit list is calculated based on the IBSAT 2024 score, PI performance and presentation and previous academic records of the candidate.
Ques. What is the selection procedure for IBSAT 2024?
Ans. It generally comprises two-tier processes: 1. The candidate needs to qualify for the IBSAT exam with a minimum requisite score. 2. After that, a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round will be conducted.
Ques. Can I apply to multiple IBS campuses with a single IBSAT score?
Ans. Yes, with a single IBSAT score, you can apply to multiple IBS campuses but the selection procedure and cutoff will differ for different campuses.
Ques: Is there a facility for direct admission based on academic scores?
Ans. There is no such provision where direct admission will be considered solely based on scores. The admission is majorly based on the IBSAT score, and then the GD and PI rounds are conducted jointly.
Ques: What are the ways I will do to have a higher possibility to declare selected?
Ans: To get selected, concentrate on getting a good score in the IBSAT and on the preparation of GD and PI. Display the positive points of your bio-data during the time of selection.
