The IISc KVPY 2025 selection process begins when the candidate fills an online application on the official website of the examination. The next stage is a test of the candidates' abilities, which requires them to answer Multiple Choice Questions from the relevant subjects. When the examining body has conducted the exam which is the first one, it releases results and shortlists candidates according to their performance on the aptitude test. After being shortlisted, the candidates are required to undergo the second round called as the personal interview where they are evaluated based on their ability to solve problems and aptitude for research. Selection to IISc KVPY 2025 is dependent not only on the scores of the candidates in the the Reasoning Test but the Interview as well. During the Reasoning Test, candidates are expected to respond to questions proportionate to their stream i.e. Stream SA: those in 11th grade, Stream SX: those in 12th grade and Stream SB: undergraduate 1st year students. For the Fellowship program, they have to meet certain criterias and perform adequately in both stages. Thereafter, they will be contacted for an interview which will focus on their academic abilities and interest in the field of science.
