IISER 2025 College Selection Process

The criteria for selection of students for admission to any of the IISER 2025 Participating Colleges is through performance in one of the following examinations:

1. JEE Advanced: Only those students who qualify in JEE Advanced 2025 with the minimum required marks as stated will therefore be entitled to seek admission.
2. KVPY: Students holding active KVPY Fellowship (SA/SB/SX) are also eligible.
3. SCB Channel: All those students who have appeared for their 12th standard in science subjects and have the required percentage are qualified to apply through SCB channel.

In all these cases, the students who are selected will then be called for counseling for final allotment of the seat.

In this case, the counselling for IISER 2025 will commence after the announcement of results. The candidates selected on the basis of competitive entrance exams – JEE Advanced / KVPY / inlet test SCB, & shortlisted for the counselling will be invited for the counselling.
