INI CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
AIIMS PG 2025 is replaced by INI CET 2025. The minimum eligibility for INI CET 2025 clearly defines that the candidate should possess an MBBS/BDS degree and must have completed their one-year rotational internship from any of the recognised medical institutes in India. INI CET 2025 eligibility criteria: Who is not eligible?
Verify the points given below thoroughly to identify when the aspirant shall be deemed not eligible to sit for the INI CET entrance exam.
- Those candidates who do not finish their internship will not be found eligible according to the INI CET 2025 January session guidelines.
- The candidates have to submit the original sponsored certificate and required documents within the due dates at the time of admission. In case of failure, their candidature will be cancelled according to the eligibility criteria of INI CET 2025.
- Any candidates' false document or information submitted for appearing in the INI CET test will not be eligible for the entrance exam.
Eligibility Criteria for ‘Sponsored’ Candidates
The following are the document requirements for 'Sponsored' candidates:
- The sponsored candidates must register online & fill in the online AIIMS INI CET 2025 Application Form.
- Employees of permanent status in any Central/State Government/Armed Forces or in the Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body can be sponsored by the respective Defence/Government Authorities or Competent Authorities of PSU/Autonomous Body to appear in AIIMS PG courses.
- Educational cost for students opting for a postgraduate (MD/MS/MDS) course not available in the state will be sponsored by the State Government. A signed certificate of non-availability of the course in the concerned state from the Secretary/Director General of Health Services of the Central / State Government / DGAFMS / Competent Authority or PSU/Autonomous Body, viz, Director/Executive Head of the related organisation, should be submitted for sponsorship for AIIMS PG courses.
- The candidate can be sponsored for one subject alone, which has to be mentioned distinctly in the sponsoring authority's sponsorship form.
- No sponsored candidate will be provided with any emoluments from the AIIMS for the training period.
- Sponsored candidates should provide the sponsorship certificate in original, issued by the employer, along with the Application Form and Registration Slip to the Assistant. Controller of Examination, AIIMS, New Delhi-110 608, within the Final Registration date. They can also do so before the date of issue of AIIMS PG Admit Cards; otherwise, their candidature will be cancelled.
Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)
- Foreigners must fill out the AIIMS INI CET 2025 online application form, indicating the subject choice (only one) for admission to the MD/MS/M.Ch degree course. (6 Years)/MDS Degree.
- All international applicants must submit proof of registration of their online application through the diplomatic channel. They will also have to sit for the competitive entrance exam along with other candidates. The previous copy should be sent to AIIMS, New Delhi, before the last date of online registration. However, the applications of all such candidates will be processed only after they are received through the Diplomatic Channel.
- Foreigners are considered in a sponsored class for MD/MS/MDS courses.
- There are no reserved seats for foreigners in any field.
- Applicants' objections must reach the examination department before the date of issue of the admit card otherwis,e their application will not be considered.
- AIIMS does not pay fees to foreign candidates.
Minimum Cut-off Scores for INI CET 2025
AIIMS INI CET 2025 selection is solely made based on marks scored in the entrance test. AIIMS INI CET 2025 minimum cut-off marks usually lie at the 50th percentile.
Institutional Preference for AIIMS Graduates in AIIMS INI CET 2025:
- Those candidates who are graduates from AIIMS, New Delhi, shall be given first preference to take admission against 50% of the seats.
- The remaining seats will be made available to vacant general category candidates based on the merit of the AIIMS PG Entrance Examination.
- Subject distribution of the chosen subjects by the candidate will be on the AIIMS PG Counselling and cutoff.
INI CET 2025 Reservation Criteria
49.5% of the total Post-Graduate seats other than Sponsored/Foreign National candidate seats are reserved for the ST/SC/OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates belonging to those categories for AIIMS INI CET 2025 Admissions. Reservation of seats category-wise in AIIMS INI CET 2025 is mentioned below:

Reservation Criteria for Orthopedically Physically Handicapped Candidates:
- The AIIMS INI CET 2020 qualifying marks for an Orthopedically Physically Handicapped student will remain the same as those for other category students. Candidates belonging to the OPH category are required to furnish a valid document certifying his/her physical disability, issued by a duly constituted and authorised Medical Board of the State or the Central Government. - MD/MS programme: 3% of the total number of seats is reserved for Orthopedically Physically Handicapped (OPH). Allocation of the seat will be based on their rank in the merit from the OPH category reserved seats. If any seats remain vacant after counselling, then they are occupied by the general category candidates. In the MDS programme, no seats are reserved for OPH candidates.
