JIPMER PG 2025 Overview of the Selection Process

As created, the JIPMER PG 2025 selection process aims at harvesting only the best for MD/MS courses offered at JIPMER. It includes an entrance examination testing a candidate’s medical knowledge of subjects and subsequent counseling for seat allocation based on the examination performance. Candidates will be chosen from a pool of applicants in accordance to the results of the examination and seat allocation will be based on the ranking of candidates.

JIPMER PG 2025 Selection Process Steps

The selection process of candidates for the JIPMER PG 2025 will comprise of various steps from registration to the counseling of qualified candidates. Candidates are required to complete each of these stages if they desire a seat for the postgraduate medical courses at JIPMER.

Step 1: Registration

The first step in the selection process of JIPMER PG 2025 is the online registration process. Candidates need to go to the Official JIPMER Portal and complete the registration form. This entails filling in personal information, information regarding academics and the centers of the examination, and their choices.

Step 2: Check for the Eligibility

There are some minimum requirements, which a candidate must meet to move to the next stage which is that of the counseling.

Step 4: Merit List

Subsequent to the examination, JIPMER releases a merit listing for the candidates giving their ranks in order of the scores they obtained in the examination. This merit list has cut off marks and all those who have reached or surpassed the cut off marks are eligible for the counselling procedures.

Step 5: The Counseling

Only those candidates whose names are found in the merit listing are invited for the counseling rounds. Most importantly, it was through the merit list that the available seats of the JIPMER were filled on the basis of the specialization desired by the student as well as the number of vacant seats available. This is the stage where they will have to show their documents for verification purposes.

There are five major processes that comprise the selection process for ISI admission. To begin with, log on to the ISI website and click on the Registration link which will enable you to register online. After registration and submission of application details, is an entrance examination. A merit list is released after the examination and based on this list, the candidates are declared successful in the necessary qualifying rounds. After that, ISI also holds a counseling session to select the applicants based on charted rank and respective available options. The last phase of the process is document verification. At this stage all the eligibility requirements needed for the participant to become a member of ISI are completed and checked.
