The basic eligibility requirements for the TISSNET 2025 candidates some general academic qualification along with an age requirement that may slightly differ from program to the program and college to the college. In common, the applicants of the TISSNET should possess a bachelor’s degree in any field from any accredited institution of higher learning with minimum aggregate marks as gets prescribed from the authority (i.e. 50 percent- general category and 45 percent- reserved category). In TISSNET 2025 application, the candidate selection procedures follow a systematic approach. First step is the entrance test known as TISSNET, which is the National Entrance Test for Admission in TISS. This is a computer based test which examines candidate’s English language, General Knowledge, and Analytical Ability skills. Candidates are short-listed at this stage for the second stage of the selection mechanism dependent on their TISSNET score which will involve Personal Interview (PI) or Group Discussion (GD) or Writing Ability Test (WAT) based on the course applied for. After the announcement of the results, candidates who qualify for TISSNET 2025 will be invited for the counseling in relation to the marks scored by them. The counseling process contains verification of documents, college and program selection as well as allocation of seats.
