Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of TS EAMCET 2024 to be eligible for admission. As per the TS EAMCET eligibility criteria 2024, students who have passed the 12th class exam are eligible to apply for TS EAMCET. The authorities have laid down some eligibility conditions for candidates willing to get admission in engineering and agriculture undergraduate courses offered by the TS EAMCET 2024 participating institutes. Nationality	Candidates must be Indian nationals or Persons of Indian Origin (POI) or Overseas Citizen of India Cardholders (OCIs). Candidate should belong to the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh Should satisfy the Telangana local candidate eligibility/ non-local status or Andhra Pradesh
TS EAMCET Age limit	Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech in all branches except B.Tech Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering or Food Technology must be 16 years of age as of December 31 of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit. Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering or Food Technology must be 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission. The upper age limit is 22 years. The upper age limit for reserved category candidates seeking admission in B.Tech Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering or Food Technology is 25 years.
Educational Qualification	Candidates must have passed or appeared in the final year of class 12 or its equivalent examination from the Board of Intermediate Education Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should have Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology in their 10+2 exam. Candidates who have passed or appeared in a diploma in engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh will also be eligible to appear in TS EAMCET 2024 exam. Candidates should have passed the in class 12 or its equivalent exam.
TS EAMCET Local & Non-Local Status	Candidates who have resided or studied in an educational institute of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh for at least four consecutive years up to their qualifying exam will be considered local candidates. Candidates who do not satisfy the above TS EAMCET eligibility criteria 2024 will be considered non-local candidates Candidates belonging to the OCI/ PIO category will also be treated as non-local candidates.
TS EAMCET eligibility Marks 2024	The qualifying percentage of marks for the TS EAMCET-2024 is 25% of the maximum marks for consideration for ranking. However, for candidates belonging to SC / ST, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed. Only candidates who will be included in the rank list will be considered for admission.
Admission Weightage	The final admission process will be done based on the TS EAMCET 2024 score. 25 % weightage of intermediate marks shall not be taken into account.
