TUEE 2025 Overview of Eligibility

The TUEE 2025 eligibility criteria are intended to be the bedrock on which the knowledge and expertise possessed by the candidates as regards the programs of their choice would be built. Various criteria are to be met corresponding to the courses’ level (undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral) and the subject based on it selected by the candidate.

They have to do an in-depth study of the eligibility situations so that they are able to know well in advance whether they are eligible for the exam or not.

TUEE 2025 Educational Qualification

Education levels in TUEE 2025 are different for each category.

1. Undergraduate Programs:Candidates should have completed the Class 12th examination or equivalent that should be recognized by the board.The minimum aggregate percentage requirements may vary by program but are generally around 50% for the general category candidates; 45% for the SC/ST/OBC/PwD category. The particular subjects have to be the ones that are required as per the course chosen. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the case of the B.Sc. programs are to be completed.B.Tech. disciplines: The need read Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry:
2. Class 12 pass or equal qualification from a reputable board is expected from applicants.
3. The figure for aggregation of marks is not the same for all the programs but even in the general category is on the lower side, for example, 50 percent (45 percent for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates).
4. Specific courses among which the student’s concentration will determine the ones to be taken, are the terms to be revered. In general, candidates are required to take up certain subjects. For instance: Science: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory. Or you can choose Biology instead of Mathematics.B. Tech: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry are basic subjects for engineering degree courses.
5. Science: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology are mandatory.
6. Technology: The courses related to Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry are the central ones which are necessary for the engineering areas.
7. Postgraduate Programs: In reference to the tuition condition, candidates must have finished a bachelor's degree in the specialty from a competent university. At the most, you can still get a 50% composite score if you are a normal candidate (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates).M.Tech may need a valid GATE score along with TUEE to be allowed to bring it deeper.
8. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a suitable field from a recognized university.
9. Usually, the minimum aggregate percentage required is 50% for general candidates (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates).
10. Amongst those, who are pursing M.Tech., have to bring in a valid GATE score together with the TUEE qualifications.
11. DSCD (Doctoral degree - PhD): Candidates should have a master’s in the related field and should have secured at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates).Apart from TUEE, for a few of the doctoral programs the candidates might have to qualify for any national-level exams such as UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, GATE, and so on.

TUEE 2025 Age Limit

The TUEE 2025 age limit vary depending on the level of the program:

1. Undergraduate Programs: Candidates must be under 25 years of age when they are admitted. However, they might be given an age relaxation for reserved categories as per the government norms.
2. Postgraduate and Doctoral Programs: Most postgraduate and Ph.D. programs do not have any age limit at all. Any student satisfying the academic requirements of the course, will be accepted, regardless of his/her age.

TUEE 2025 Nationality

The nationality requirements for TUEE 2025 are the following:

1. Indian Nationals: Only Indian citizens can apply for TUEE 2025.
2. Foreign Nationals: International students can come to Tezpur University for various programs. They usually undergo different application procedures and need to complete additional courses, such as equivalency of qualifications and language proficiency (e.g., TOEFL/IELTS for non-English-speaking countries).

TUEE 2025 Reservation Policy

TUEE 2025 Reservations seats for different classes of people in the manner prescribed by the Government of India. The categories which are reserved for are:

• Scheduled Castes (SC): 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates.
• 7.5% of seats are reserved for ST candidates in which Scheduled Tribes (ST) is what ST means.
• 27% of seats are reserved for OBC class candidates. - Non-Creamy Layer (OBC): The reservation of 27% of seats is done for OBC group candidates.
• 10% of seats are reserved for EWS candidates.

The eligible candidates must produce documents such as caste certificates or disability certificates to get a reservation benefit in their respective category during the application process.
