UPTET Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

UPTET 2024 score is the minimum requirement for candidates applying for teaching jobs through examination. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship vary depending on the position/position applied for by the applicants.

The entry criteria for UPTET marks are mentioned separately for paper 1 and paper 2. Candidates must have educational qualifications to fill the application form:

  4. Graduation and examination with minimum 50% marks passed in the final year of B.Ed. Special training is recognized by RCI.
  5. Intermediate level with minimum 50% marks and attended or passed final year of 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed/B.Sc.B.Ed or B.L.Ed.
  6. Graduate with a minimum 50% marks pass or proceed to one-year B.Ed (special education) recognized by RCI

UPTET Qualification for Primary Sanskrit & English Teacher (Class 1-5)

To become a primary teacher of Sanskrit or English (Class I-V) in Uttar Pradesh, you need to clear the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Test Examination (UPTET) and fulfill the educational qualification criteria set by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Basic Education.

  1. For Sanskrit teachers, candidates must have a degree in Sanskrit as a subject from a university recognized by the UGC and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) or BTC (Certificate of Basic Education) from a Government-affiliated university. of Uttar Pradesh completed Pradesh
  2. For English teachers, candidates must have completed graduation with English as a subject from a university recognized by the UGC, and two years of Postgraduate for Elementary Education (DElEd) and BTC (Certificate of Basic Education) from any Government institution to be Uttar Pradesh
  3. Candidates who have completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree from any recognized institute can also apply for UPTET for Sanskrit or English Primary Teacher Qualifications.

UPTET Qualification for Upper Primary Sanskrit and English Teacher

UPTET Eligibility Criteria for Sanskrit Teachers and Primary English Teachers (Class VI-VIII) are as follows: Degree from UGC University or Institute.

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed) from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
  2. Candidates who have completed four years of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or two years of Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) approved by NCTE can also apply for this post..
  3. For English teachers, a higher degree in English from an accredited college or university.
  4. For Sanskrit teachers, it is desirable to study Sanskrit or a Sanskrit-like subject from a recognized university or college.
  5. Candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in their Graduation or Post Graduation with B.Ed or D.El.Ed.
  6. Candidates must have qualified for the UPTET (Upper Primary Level) examinations conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Primary Education.

UPTET Educational Qualification for Upper Primary Urdu Teacher

UPTET Eligibility Criteria for Primary School Urdu Teacher (Class VI-VIII) is as follows

  1. Graduation and examination with minimum 50% marks from university/college established by law and recognized by UGC.
  2. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) issued by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) from time to time for this purpose. OR Pursuing or participating in the final year of a two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree from a recognized institution.
  3. Teaching Degree from Aligarh Muslim University (for Urdu teacher).
  4. Urdu Teaching Degree (for Urdu Teacher) from Aligarh Muslim University before 11th August 1997
