The XGMT 2026 Participating Colleges are primarily located under the XIM University, Bhubaneswar. The Xavier General Management Aptitude Test is conducted by XIM University for the purpose of selecting candidates for the postgraduate management programs offered by the university. Organizations may participate in the XGMT 2026 exam for entry into various programs at XIM University. Programs offered at XIM University include the MBA in Business Management, MBA in Human Resource Management, MBA in Rural Management, and MBA in Sustainability Management. Each of the participating colleges follows a uniform selection process based on XGMT scores, group discussion, and personal interview. Therefore, these colleges are recognized for their solid academic framework, an industry-oriented curriculum, their experienced faculty members, and for providing good placement opportunities; thus, the XGMT has been established as the preferred examination for applicants wishing to pursue a master's degree in business administration in the eastern region of India.

Candidates who wish to apply for the XGMT 2026 must possess a Bachelor's degree from a Nationally Recognised University. Those wishing to be eligible for the XGMT 2026 must have obtained a minimum of Fifty-Five percent (55%) of all of their marks, based upon the cumulative of marks in all subjects; Candidates who are members of Scheduled Caste (SC) or the Scheduled Tribe (ST) will be required to pass with no fewer than Fifty percent (50%). Candidates who are still completing their Bachelor's Degree can still apply, provided the candidate will complete their Bachelor’s Degree on or before the XGMT 2026 specified deadline. There is no upper limit to the Age of an applicant taking the XGMT 2026. Candidates with qualifying work experience will be given preference during the selection process; however, this preference is not required for the process to continue. To be eligible for the XGMT 2026 examination and for admission into the various Graduate and Professional Schools, candidates must meet all eligibility requirements.
