What is M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication?


M.A. Journalism and Mass Communication, also known as Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication, is a two-year postgraduate programme in journalism and mass communication. M.A in Journalism and Mass Communication teaches students about the fundamentals of mass media and current events and how to deal with difficult situations.

Eligibility Criteria for  M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication


The following are the requirements for the M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication:

  • Students must earn a minimum of 50% in their graduation from a recognised institution or university.
  • Students who fall into the restricted categories of SC/ST/OBC receive 5% moderation.
  • Any stream will suffice.
  • In any subject, no receptacle is acceptable. Every topic should have students who are completely qualified.
  • As a standard entrance test for admission, some institutions or universities have various qualifying conditions. Exam for admission: DUET, IPU - CET, AUCET, SET, JMIEEE DUET, IPU - CET, AUCET, SET, JMIEEE DUET, IPU – CET.
