MA Punjabi offers a two-year postgraduate program, requiring for the prerequisite is graduation and/or a Bachelor's degree obtained by the system of 10+2+3 or equivalent qualifications with a minimum cumulative score 50 percent or an equivalent CGPA. The course is divided into four terms. The cost of the course is ranging from INR 1500-70,000 in India.

Many opportunities are not limited to the mentioned areas. After graduation, the student can pursue further study or pursue the available jobs. The salary of an M.A. Punjabi can be found between the INR of 16000 to 25000 as a teacher, or Translator of Punjabi.
