M.Tech in Mechanical Equipment Design is a two-year postgraduate degree focusing mainly on the concepts and processes involved in designing and manufacturing machines and machine-related objects. During this course, students learn about machine design issues, engineering materials, techniques, principles, statistical concepts, and their mechanical properties.

Machine design is a synthesis of mathematics, kinematics, statics, and dynamics, material mechanics, material science, engineering, and engineering drawing.
