An MSc Biochemistry course is a 2-year PG course that focuses on studying the chemical processes and the substances that are present in living organisms. MSc Biochemistry is a component of Biochemistry which is an inter-disciplinary field that integrates fundamentals that are a part of Biology as well as Chemistry to study the molecular processes that are behind the various biological processes.

To qualify for Admission to the MSc Biochemistry program, applicants should have achieved a minimum of 45 per cent in their BSc Biochemistry or a relevant undergraduate course from a reputable university. Additionally, candidates typically need to have completed at least one course in both Biology and Chemistry at the graduate level. Moreover, they must have successfully passed a Science stream examination in the 12th grade, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).

The tuition fee for the MSc Biochemistry program ranges from INR 5,000 to INR 4 lakh. Admission to the program is contingent upon performance in entrance exams such as CUET PGCET, ICAR AIEEA, CPTGET, and AP PGCET, among others.
