Introduction of Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Radio Frequency Design and Technology

A postgraduate radiography programme is the Master of Technology in Radio Frequency Communications. The curriculum is meant to provide technical skills and knowledge while also enhancing your academic and professional abilities, as well as your analytical and management capabilities.

  • Students must have received a minimum of 50% in their B.E./B.Tech. or any other similar qualification.

After completing 24 earned credits of undergraduate courses as required by the individual programme, visiting students must take the GATE exam and reapply for admission to the M.Tech. Programme.
  • M.Sc. candidates are preferred. Candidates with AMIE/grad. with a CGPA of 6.00 on a 10-point scale or 60 % marks in aggregate for students General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) can also apply. If an IETE meets the minimal qualifying requirements, it may be considered for admission.
  • Direct Full-Time Admission:

 B.Tech. / M.Sc. or equivalent with (a) CGPA of 8.5 or 75 percent aggregate marks in the General / OBC category, and CGPA of 7.5 or 70 percent aggregate marks in SC / ST / PD category. For General / OBC, GATE Score > 300 or qualifying score whichever is higher, and for SC / ST / PD, GATE Score > 200 or qualifying score whichever is higher.

A two-year programme. Two semesters of academic work and two semesters of project work make up the four-semester M.Tech in radio frequency and design technology programme. During the fourth semester, the curriculum is generally either be project-based, with students completing Major Proj. Part-II, or course-based, with students completing Program & Other Electives & Major Project-III.
