Each year, businesses from both the public and commercial sectors take part in the college's placement campaign. The student placement drive is run by the CUSAT placement cell of the School of Engineering. It makes sure everything runs smoothly throughout the placement drive. The college provides a wide range of placement and internship possibilities for its students. According to the CUSAT placement report for 2018–19 from the School of Engineering (NIRF report), 340 students from UG 4-year courses were qualified for placement. Of the 340 students, 234 were placed, while 56 chose to pursue further education. The Cochin University of Science and Technology Placements 2018–19 School of Engineering provided undergraduates enrolled in four-year programmes with a median income of Rs. 3,50,000 annually.
