Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech (4 Years Program)
The eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Tech./B.E. program in Rajasthan mandates a minimum academic qualification. Applicants must attain a pass with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to "SC/ST/Non creamy layer OBC/Noncreamy layer SBC" of Rajasthan state) in the specified subjects combination, as detailed below, in their final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, or any equivalent examination recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan/Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

B.Tech Admission 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry
Candidates who wish to apply for the B.Tech or BE program admission process under the engineering and technology domain are required to meet the below eligibility criteria:
A minimum of 3 years or 2 years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Examination. At least 45% marks in any branch of Engineering and Technology in the Diploma exam. At least 40% marks in the diploma exam (for reserved category candidates).
B.Sc Degree with at least 45% marks from a UGC-approved University or college. For reserved category candidates, at least 40% marks in B.Sc is required.

Candidates applying for the Polytechnic I Year (3 Years Program) at Aryabhatta College of Engineering and Research Center (ACERC), Ajmer, must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
* Must have passed the Class 10 examination from a recognized board.
* Should have obtained a minimum of 35% marks in the Class 10 examination.
Must have passed Mathematics and Science subjects in the Class 10 examination from a recognized Board of School Education or its equivalent.
Eligibility for Polytechnic II Year (2 Years Program):
Candidates applying for the Polytechnic II Year (2 Years Program) at ACERC, Ajmer, must meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
1. Should have completed a Diploma in Engineering.
2. Must have passed the 12th Science Vocational/Technical examination.
3. Should have completed a 10+2-year ITI course with appropriate specialization.
4. Must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from the Board of Secondary Education, 5. Rajasthan, Ajmer/CBSE Delhi or its equivalent.
