Acharya Shrimannarayan Polytechnic, Nagpur Libray Facilities is committed to fulfilling its mission by acquiring the requisite information and documents to cater to the needs of its users to help them achieve excellence in teaching, learning, and research activity. The library is committed to five laws of library science formulated by the father of library science in India, Dr. S. R. Ranganathan. The college was established in the year 1963 with civil & rural Engg. The branch of 120 intakes earlier was known as Rural Institute where three branches namely art, agriculture, and polytechnic were working together on the same premises. The library is common to all branches.

In the year 1973, the polytechnic was handed over to the Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai. In the year 1995, the mechanical branch started at 60 intake capacity.  Presently the library is housed in a 300 sq. meter area where there is a separate Reading Room, Reference Section, Issue Counter, Stack Rooms, and Bound Volume section. The reading room can accommodate 80 readers. Separate arrangement is made for faculties in the library.
