AU Bathinda placement cell also conducts mock tests and practice session classes on Aptitude, Quantitative Ability, Logic and Reasoning to make students practice and get better before appearing for the final Interview and Written test. Detailed descriptions of the whole procedure of placement followed by the Training & Placement cell of the AUTS Bathinda are mentioned below in steps.The AUTS Bathinda Placement cell coordinates with the recruitment companies and sends an annexure to those companies and the recruiters in return need to fill all necessary information in the annexure.

  1. The AU Bathinda Training and Placement Cell then fixes their dates with various recruiters based on the salary packages and other eligibility criteria offered by the recruitment companies.
  2. Students need to register themselves with the Akal University Placement cell for the placement drive along with all required documents and students satisfying all eligibility criteria will be asked to proceed further for the recruitment process.
  3. Akal University Recruiters will then fix dates with AU Bathinda to visit the campus to conduct the recruitment process via various steps including a Written Test, Group discussion and Interviews. 
  4. Students are given pre-placement talks by different recruiting companies to make them aware of the policies, roles and job profiles offered by them.
  5. Students of the university also need to appear and qualify for a written test classified into different sections including Quantitative aptitude, Logical and Reasoning ability, English competency etc to test the skills and basic knowledge of students.
  6. Students of Akal University, Bathinda who will qualify for the written test also need to qualify for Group Discussion on topics decided by the recruiters to judge the communication and speaking skills of students. 
  7. After clearing the GD round, students also need to go through various rounds of Interview namely Technical Interview and HR Interview conducted by various recruiting companies to test the technical knowledge, communication skills and confidence of students.
