The Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) operates autonomously under the Government of Maharashtra, with a mandate to oversee diploma-level technical education within the state. Central to its mission are curriculum development and the effective implementation of strategies aimed at enhancing education quality. This includes faculty development initiatives, student programs, fostering industry-institution collaboration, academic oversight, and embracing online evaluation methods. In recent times, MSBTE has also ventured into skill development initiatives, expanding its scope of service. Recognizing the evolving needs of industry, MSBTE has prioritized revising curricula to better align with employment requirements for diploma students. This revision was completed and implemented for the academic year 2017-18. Drawing from close involvement with stakeholders and their valuable feedback, there is a commitment to streamline processes, leverage advanced technological tools, and adopt improved evaluation methods, all aimed at enhancing the educational experience and outcomes for students.
