Candidates should have achieved a minimum average of 45% marks in relevant subjects such as PCM in their Higher Secondary Examination for the general category. For reserved categories, including Backward Class, Backward Class Muslims, Scheduled Caste, and Scheduled Tribe, the minimum requirement is 40% marks. Additionally, candidates must achieve a satisfactory ranking in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Test.
Selection Process:
The college has two distinct application quotas:
Government Quota
• Students need to take the Anna University-TNEA test and obtain a rank.
• Anna University will compile the final merit list.
• Students will participate in counseling based on their rank.
• During counseling, students will specify their college and study stream preferences. The final allocation of college and stream will be determined during this session.
• Students allocated to ACET College for any offered stream should then meet the college Principal with their allocation order to complete the subsequent application process.
Management Quota
• Candidates are required to take the Common Entrance Examination organized by the consortium of self-financing engineering colleges and achieve an appropriate score.
TNEA Application Process
