Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology was founded in the year 2008 in Mangalore, Karnataka. The college is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technology University, Belgaum.

Alvas Engineering College offers BE course of four-year duration with five specializations, MBA course with four specializations and M.Tech with three specializations respectively.

1. Candidates who have completed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 45% marks (40% for the reserved category) from a recognized Board are considered eligible to get admission to BE course.
2. Admission to BE program is given through KCET or COMEDK-UGET.
3. Candidates with Diploma in Engineering are eligible to apply for BE Lateral Entry program.
4. Admission to BE Lateral Entry is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
5. Candidates who hold Graduation Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for admission to MBA course.
6. Candidates with BE or B.Tech degree in relevant discipline are considered eligible to get admission to the M.Tech program.
7. Selection of the candidates for MBA course is done through KMAT/ CAT/ KEA-PGCET.
8. For M.Tech program, candidate is selected through the KEA-PGCET score.
9. Admission to Management quota seats will be given on the basis of VTU norms.

Alvas Engineering College BE and BE Lateral Entry Admission 2024

Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology offers BE course of two-year duration with 5 specializations.

Candidates who have completed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with minimum 45% marks (40% for the reserved category) from a recognized Board are considered eligible to join BE course. Those who are seeking admission to BE Lateral Entry program must have completed three-year Diploma with at least 50% marks.

Admission to the course is given through KCET or COMEDK-UGET. The college admits candidates directly to the second year of the course on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination.

Alvas Engineering College MBA and M.Tech Admission 2024

Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology offers full-time MBA in four specializations and M.Tech course in three specializations of two-year duration each. Candidates who completed Graduation in any discipline with not less than 50% marks are eligible to get admission to MBA course. Students who hold BE or B.Tech Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University are considered eligible to apply for admission to the M.Tech program.

Admission to MBA course is given on the basis of candidate’s merit in Karnataka-PGCET, KMAT or CAT. Selection for admission to M.Tech course is done through Karnataka-PGCET.
