The Basic Training Kitchen (BTK) is offered to the first-year students of the Bachelor's Degree program and CCFP to get all the relevant information about food production. They are instructed in the fundamentals of kitchen work with the reward of tasting their creations. Hence, training kitchen facilities are beautifully used for imparting skills in food production to the students.
It equips the students with the art of culinary science which involves food production and knowledge about various cuisines as well as bakery and confectionery. The second-year students of the same program also acquire the knowledge and skills needed to cater to the demand for regional cuisines of India.
Training Restaurant & Bar Restaurants are dedicated to food & beverage service training for the Graduate and Diploma courses. Food service for the faculty and staff is also available here. Here, students are trained to perform the fundamental principles of food and beverage services. Students are also instructed to know the guests' requirements and how to tackle them. They are taught how to handle & supervise diversified events in the hospitality industry & corporate sectors. The ambiance and theme are those of a real-life restaurant where students learn table-setting, order-taking, and all other types of food service.
