Undergraduate Admissions Eligibility Criteria

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY

Prospective candidates must have completed and passed their Class XII Examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.

PROGRAM-SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

B.A.(Hons.) Economics

Candidates are required to take the CUET with the following subject combination:

Anyone Language from List A + Mathematics + Any two subjects, with at least one from List B1.

Selection will be based on the CUET scores obtained from the aforementioned subject combination.

B.A. (Hons.) English

Candidates must appear in CUET with the following subject combination:

English from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2.

Admission will be based on the CUET scores obtained from this combination of subjects.

B.A. (Hons) Hindi

Candidates need to appear in CUET with the following subject combination:

Hindi from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2.

Selection will be based on the CUET scores obtained from this particular subject combination.

B.A.(Hons.) History

Applicants must appear in CUET with the following subject combination:

Any one Language from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2.

Merit will be determined based on the CUET scores from this combination of subjects.

B.A.(Hons.) Political Science

Candidates must take the CUET with the following subject combination:

Any one Language from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2.

Admission will be based on the CUET scores obtained from this combination of subjects.

B.A. (Program)

Applicants must appear in CUET with any of the following subject combinations:

Combination I: Any one Language from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2

OR

Combination II: Any one language from List A + SECTION III of CUET (General Test)

Admission will be based on the best CUET score obtained from any of the mentioned subject combinations.

Note: Due to variations in the CUET Sections' weightage, appropriate proration will be conducted.

B. Com. (Hons.)

Candidates need to appear in CUET with any of the following subject combinations:

Combination I: Any one Language from List A + Mathematics + Any two subjects, with at least one from List B1

OR

Combination II: Anyone Language from List A + Accountancy + Any two subjects, with at least one from List B1

Admission will be based on the highest CUET scores obtained from these subject combinations.

B. Com.

Applicants must appear in CUET with any of the following subject combinations:

Combination I: Any one Language from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2

OR

Combination II: Anyone Language from List A + SECTION III of CUET (General Test)

Admission will be based on the best CUET scores obtained from these subject combinations.

Note: Due to variations in the CUET Sections' weightage, appropriate proration will be conducted.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry

Candidates must take the CUET with the following subject combination:

Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics

Admission will be based on the CUET scores obtained from this specific combination of subjects.

Candidates are required to attain a minimum of 30% score in any one language from List A in CUET.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science

Applicants must appear in CUET with the following subject combination:

Any one language from List A + Mathematics + Any two subjects, with at least one from List B1

Admission will be based on the CUET scores obtained from this particular combination of subjects.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Electronics

Candidates must appear in CUET with either of the following subject combinations:

Combination I: Physics + Mathematics + Chemistry

OR

Combination II: Physics + Mathematics + Computer Science/Informatics Practice

Admission will be based on the highest CUET score obtained from any of these subject combinations.

Candidates are required to attain a minimum of 30% score in any one language from List A in CUET.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics

Candidates must appear in CUET with the following subject combination:

Any one language from List A + Mathematics + Any two subjects, with at least one from List B1

Admission will be based on the CUET scores obtained from this combination of subjects.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics

Candidates must take the CUET with the following subject combination:

Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics

Admission will be based on the CUET scores obtained from this combination of subjects.

Candidates are required to attain a minimum of 30% score in any one language from List A in CUET.

B. Sc. (Prog.) Physical Science with Chemistry

Candidates must appear in CUET with the following subject combination:

Physics + Mathematics + Chemistry

Admission will be based on the CUET scores obtained from this combination of subjects.

Candidates are required to attain a minimum of 30% score in any one language from List A in CUET.

B.Sc. (Prog.) Physical Science with Computer Science

Candidates must appear in CUET with either of the following subject combinations:

Combination I: Physics + Mathematics + Chemistry

OR

Combination II: Physics + Mathematics + Computer Science/Informatics Practices

Admission will be based on the highest CUET score obtained from any of these subject combinations.

Candidates are required to attain a minimum of 30% score in any one language from List A in CUET.

B. Sc. (Prog.) Physical Science with Electronics

Candidates must appear in CUET with either of the following subject combinations:

Combination I: Physics + Mathematics + Chemistry

OR

Combination II: Physics + Mathematics + Computer Science/Informatics Practice

Admission will be based on the highest CUET score obtained from any of these subject combinations.

Candidates are required to attain a minimum of 30% score in any one language from List A in CUET.

B.Sc. (Prog.) Applied Physical Sciences with Industrial Chemistry

Candidates must appear in CUET with the following subject combination:

Physics + Mathematics + Chemistry

Admission will be based on the CUET scores obtained from this combination of subjects.

Candidates are required to attain a minimum of 30% score in any one language from List A in CUET.

Postgraduate Admissions Eligibility Criteria

Master of Commerce (M.Com)

Eligibility:

A Bachelor's Degree in a Related Stream from a Recognized University

Master of Arts (MA) Hindi

Eligibility:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 45% from a recognized university.

Master of Arts (MA) Political Science

Eligibility:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 45% from a recognized university.

Undergraduate admission prerequisites specify that applicants need to have successfully finished and passed their Class XII Examination or equivalent from an authorized board.

For B.A.(Hons. ) History, candidates are expected to take the CUET with a specified subject amalgamation: Any language chosen from List A + Any two subjects selected from List B1 + Any one subject from List B1 or List B2.  Admission evaluations will heavily rely on the CUET scores acquired through this particular assortment of subjects.

As for B.A.(Hons.) Political Science, candidates must participate in the CUET with a subject grouping of Any language from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from List B1 or List B2.  Admission determinations will be contingent upon the CUET scores obtained from this specific combination of subjects.

Regarding the B.A. (Program), candidates are required to undertake the CUET with these subject compositions: Either Any language from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from List B1 or List B2 or Any language from List A + SECTION III of CUET (General Test).  Admission decisions will be based on the most favorable CUET score from any of these subject combinations. It is imperative to note that due to variations in the weightage of CUET Sections, appropriate adjustments will be carried out.

In the case of B. Com. (Hons.), candidates must appear in CUET with either of the following subject combinations: Either Any language from List A + Mathematics + Any two subjects, where at least one is from List B1 or Any language from List A + Accountancy + Any two subjects, where at least one is from List B1.  Admission decisions will be made based on the highest CUET scores from these specified combinations.

For B. Com., applicants need to appear in CUET with either of the following subject combinations: Either Any language from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from List B1 or List B2 or Any language from List A + SECTION III of CUET (General Test).  Admission decisions will be contingent upon the best CUET scores obtained from these subject combinations. Similar adjustments will be made due to variations in the CUET Sections' weightage.

For various B.Sc. (Hons.) programs such as Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, Physical Science with Chemistry, Physical Science with Computer Science, Physical Science with Electronics, and Applied Physical Sciences with Industrial Chemistry, admission prerequisites dictate that candidates appear in CUET with specified subject combinations.  Admission decisions will be grounded on CUET scores obtained from these specified combinations, with the condition of securing a minimum of 30% score in any one language from List A in CUET. 

Concerning Postgraduate Admissions Eligibility Criteria:

Master of Commerce (M.Com): A Bachelor's Degree in a Related Stream from a Recognized University is a prerequisite.

Master of Arts (MA) Hindi: Eligibility mandates a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 45% from an accredited university.

Master of Arts (MA) Political Science: Eligibility necessitates a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 45% from a recognized university.
