The State Government of Rajasthan has outlined the guidelines for centralized online counseling for admission to the B.Tech. 1st-year program through the Coordinator, REAP-2024 (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) according to the following criteria:

1. 70% of the total intake of seats will be allocated to candidates from the state of Rajasthan.

2. Admission for these seats will be based on the merit of JEE (Mains) 2024 rank and Class-12 marks/percentile.

3. 15% of the total intake of seats will be reserved for candidates from outside Rajasthan.

4. Similar to the state quota, admission for these seats will be based on JEE (Mains) 2024 rank and Class-12 marks/percentile.

5. The remaining 15% of seats, categorized as Management seats, will be available for candidates from both Rajasthan and outside the state.

6. These seats will be filled at the institute's level.

7. These guidelines ensure a transparent and standardized admission process for B.Tech. 1st-year candidates, accommodating both state and non-state applicants while maintaining a proportionate distribution of seats.

For admission to the B.Tech./B.E. course, candidates must meet the following educational qualifications and age criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Minimum pass in Class 10+2 (Class XII) or equivalent.

2. At least 45% marks in three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

3. For candidates from Rajasthan State belonging to SC/ST/Non-creamy layer OBC/Non-creamy layer MBC categories, the minimum mark required is 40%.

4. The final examination must be from the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), or any other recognized equivalent board.

Age Criteria:

1. Candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1990, to be eligible.

2. For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years.

3. SC, ST, and PwD candidates born on or after October 1, 1985, are eligible.

4. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education marksheet/certificate will be considered authentic.

B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology):

Minimum academic qualification: Pass in Class 10+2 (Class XII) or equivalent with at least 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Non-creamy layer OBC/Non-creamy layer MBC categories of Rajasthan State) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

M.Tech (Master of Technology):

Minimum qualification:

Candidates must hold a B.E/B. Tech degree in the appropriate discipline from RTU or any recognized University/Institution.

Minimum marks:

55% (6.25 CGPA on 10 points scale) for general candidates, and 50% (5.75 CGPA on 10 points scale) for SC/ST candidates.

MBA (Master of Business Administration):

Minimum qualification:

Graduate (10+2+3) degree or equivalent from any recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST and Non-creamy layer OBC candidates).

Candidates need to meet these criteria before applying for the respective courses.

B.Tech Selection Criteria:

Candidates must have passed Class 10+2 (Class XII) or equivalent with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (40% for SC/ST/Non-creamy layer OBC/Non-creamy layer MBC candidates of Rajasthan State).

M.Tech Selection Criteria:

Minimum qualification: Candidates must have at least 55% (6.25 CGPA on 10 points scale) marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) in B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent examinations.
Admission is also open to qualified candidates obtained through examinations conducted by recognized professional societies or those with M.Sc., MCA with valid and qualified GATE scores.

MBA Selection Criteria:

Minimum qualification: Graduate (10+2+3) degree or equivalent from any recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST and Non-creamy layer OBC candidates).

These criteria serve as the minimum requirements for admission, and the university may prescribe additional requirements. The equivalency of any degree will be decided by the University.
