Common Seat Allocation Systems (CSAS), Admission Process for 2023

Delhi University has implemented the Common Seat Allocation System for admissions to UG courses at all affiliated colleges. The procedure is as follows:

Phase 1: CSAS Form

• The centralized admission portal allows applicants to fill out the CSAS form and pay a non-refundable one-time application fee.

• Candidates for the ECA or sports quota pay an extra fee.

Phase 2: Course Selection and College Preferences

• After CUET results have been declared, candidates can fill in their college preferences and select their courses on the centralized CSAS website.

Phase 3: Seat allocation and final admission

• The merit list is compiled based on the CUET results.

• Seat allocation is conducted in multiple rounds.

The dashboard of the CSAS allows candidates to check if a seat has been assigned. Candidates must accept the seat they've been allotted by the date specified for that round.

The allocation of seats is determined by a number of factors, including the college and program selected, the candidate's ranking on the merit list, and their category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) as well as the availability and status of the seats.

After receiving payment, the university confirms your admission by verifying your eligibility and documents.
