ASM's IMCOST, Mumbai UG Admission Process
1. Candidates aspiring for admission to undergraduate programs such as BMS, B.Com (BAF), B.Com (BBI), and B.Com (BFM) are required to have completed the 12th standard examination from the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent, securing a minimum of 45% aggregate marks on the first attempt (40% for reserved categories).
2. Upon admission to the degree course at the affiliated college, every candidate must register with the University of Mumbai. Until registration is completed, admission will be considered provisional.
3. Candidates are obligated to submit original SSC and HSC examination passing mark sheets, certificates, junior college transfer certificates, and other pertinent documents as per University guidelines. Admission will remain provisional until all required documents are received.
4. It is important to note that if, at any point during the study, it is discovered that a student has provided forged, false, or misleading information or documents, their admission will be revoked, and they will be expelled from the college.
5. Please be advised that admission confirmation will be based on the merit list displayed under University guidelines.
ASM's IMCOST, Mumbai Admission Procedure (MCA)
Admission to the Master of Computer Application (MCA) Programme follows the guidelines set forth by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State.
Eligibility criteria stipulate that candidates must be Indian Nationals and hold a minimum three-year Bachelor's Degree from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities, with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to backward class categories and persons with disabilities from Maharashtra state). Additionally, candidates must have studied Mathematics or Statistics at the 10+2 level or higher and obtained a non-zero score in the Common Entrance Test (CET) administered by the Competent Authority, Government of Maharashtra.
Candidates with Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS), or Bachelor of Science (Computer Science / Information Technology) degrees are exempt from the Mathematics or Statistics requirement at the 10+2 level.
The Institute of Management & Computer Studies offers 120 seats for the MCA program, with 51% reserved under the Minority category and 20% under the Institute Level category. The Department of Higher & Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, has issued a notification for the admission process for the academic year through MAH-MCA-CET. Eligibility Criteria for CAP Quota Candidates:
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
1. A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% for candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disabilities from Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor’s degree awarded by any university recognized by the University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities.
2. Mathematics or Statistics should be one of the subjects at the 10+2 level or higher.
Alternatively, candidates who have appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree from a recognized
university can also apply provisionally, subject to passing the Degree examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
Note: Candidates who have completed Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS), or Bachelor of Science (Computer/Information Technology) degree courses are exempt from the Mathematics or Statistics requirement at the 10+2 level.

Candidates should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
1. A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA in any Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
2. Mathematics or Statistics should be one of the subjects at the 10+2 level or higher.
Alternatively, candidates who have appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree can apply provisionally, subject to passing the Degree examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
Note: Candidates must have appeared for the Maharashtra-Common Entrance Test (MH-CET) conducted by the Government of Maharashtra for the year 2017 and secured a non-zero score. Additionally, candidates must have passed the SSC (Std. X), HSC (Std. XII), and Graduation examination from Maharashtra state. Candidates must also be Indian Nationals and belong to the Hindi Linguistic Community for Linguistic Minority seats.

Candidates aspiring to pursue the MMS course must fulfill one of the following criteria: either take the common entrance test MH-CET conducted by DTE Maharashtra state, or present valid scores from GMAT/MAT/CAT/ATMA/XAT/CMAT Examination or participate in the CET conducted by an agency approved by Pravesh Niyantran Samiti (PNS) for the academic year.

To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. The candidate must be an Indian National.
2. The application process for full-time postgraduate courses at IMCOST is available both online and offline.
Online Mode:
Candidates opting for the online mode can register and apply via the website. They are required to furnish personal, academic, address, and work experience details. Additionally, they need to upload scanned copies of necessary documents along with a colored passport photograph. These documents typically include the Leaving Certificate of Std. 12th, Original Mark sheets and Certificates of 10th and 12th with 2 Xerox Sets, and 2 passport-size photographs. Upon completion and submission of the form, candidates can proceed to pay the application fee using a Debit card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
Offline Mode:
For candidates choosing the offline mode, the application form can be downloaded from the website, purchased from the institute, or obtained via post. In the offline mode, the duly completed form, along with the required documents, needs to be submitted along with a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 1200/- (for postal requests, INR 1250/-) drawn in favor of the present director of IMCOST.
