Facilities and Infrastructure 

There are a total of 15 hostels on the campus premises with around 1000 students in them. The hostel facilities are sufficient for a student to be at ease. The hostel rooms are well painted with a bed, a table, and a wardrobe for each hosteller. Each room has a capacity of two students.

Library: 

AAU Jorhat library has a vast series of books, periodicals, back volumes, postgraduate theses, famous magazines, and newspapers. In addition, the Library has CAB-CDs, CABI e-books of agriculture, and allied fields protecting the length 1972-2012 and onwards.

Medical Facilities: 

AAU Jorhat has a medical unit that caters to the medical needs of students, schools, and staff. The primary role of the unit is to offer speedy definitive assessment, research, and remedy for emergency patients. Under the welfare of the university, the scientific unit offers 24-hour ambulance offerings for the personnel and college students of AAU Jorhat.

Sports Facilities: 

AAU Jorhat sports activities department provides both indoor and outdoor games. The university has an eight-lane running track, kabaddi, soccer and hockey grounds, basketball, tennis, volleyball, and badminton courts.
