Balaji Law College Pune offers two primary programs: a five-year BA – LLB program and a three-year LLB program. Eligibility criteria vary for each program. For the BA – LLB program, candidates who have cleared the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks are eligible to apply. Conversely, for the LLB program, applicants must possess a three-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 45% marks. Admission to both programs is conducted through the MH LAW CET examination, overseen by the Department of Higher Education, Pune. The selection process is facilitated through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DHE. Under the CAP, 65% of seats are allocated under the state quota, 15% under the All India Category, and the remaining 20% under the Management Quota. Additionally, candidates must meet age requirements; for the BA LLB program, applicants must be at least 20 years old, while for the LLB program, the maximum age limit is set at 30 years.

Balaji Law College BA LLB and LLB Admission

Balaji Law College offers both a five-year integrated BA-LLB program and a three-year professional LLB degree course. For the BA LLB program, candidates must have passed the HSC examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks. Candidates who have completed their HSC through distance or correspondence mode are also eligible for admission to the integrated five-year course. However, candidates who have obtained their qualifications directly from an Open University without any basic qualifications are not eligible.

For the LLB program, applicants should have completed a Bachelor's degree course with at least 45% marks in aggregate. Admission to both the LLB and BA LLB courses is based on performance in the MH LAW CET entrance exam.

  1. The maximum age limit for admission to the LLB course is 30 years for General/OBC candidates and 35 years for SC/ST candidates at the time of admission.

  2. SC/ST category students are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the age limit.

  3. Admission to the courses is conducted through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Maharashtra.

  4. 20% of the seats are filled at the institute level, while 65% of the seats are allotted through the CAP.

  1. Candidates must visit the official website of the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Pune to apply for admission to Balaji Law College.

  2. For MH LAW CET, candidates should register on the official website of DHE, Pune, or MAH CET.

  3. After registration, candidates need to fill out the application form and upload scanned copies of their photographs and signatures.

  4. The application fee is INR 650 for general category candidates and INR 350 for SC/ST category candidates, which can be paid online.

  5. Once the application form is filled out and the fee is paid, candidates should submit the form.
