Bangalore City College Undergraduate Admission 2024:
The eligibility criteria for various undergraduate courses at BCC differ. For B.Sc. Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Biogenetics/Microbiology, candidates must have passed PUC/10+2/12th Standard/PDC or equivalents with Biology as one of the core subjects.
For BBM course eligibility, candidates should have passed the Pre-University/Higher Secondary/10+2 Examination or equivalents in any discipline.
Similarly, for B.Com course entry, students must pass Pre-Degree/PDC/10+2 or equivalent in any discipline.
For BCA course eligibility, applicants need to pass the Pre-University/Higher Secondary/10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board or council.
For BA History/Political Science/Sociology/Journalism/Psychology/Economics, candidates should have completed the Pre-University/Higher Secondary/10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board or council.
Admission to all undergraduate programs is based on the merit list prepared by Bangalore University and Management.
Bangalore City College Post Graduate Admission 2024:
BCC offers various postgraduate courses with specific eligibility criteria. For M.Sc. Biotechnology, candidates must have a B.Sc. with at least 50% marks in all three optional subjects individually, with Chemistry or Biochemistry being compulsory.
For MA English course entry, candidates should have completed their Bachelor's degree with 40% aggregate marks and 50% marks in the cognate subject in the qualifying examinations.
For MSW course eligibility, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree with 50% marks from a recognized university.
For M.Com course entry, applicants should have a B.Com or B.B.M degree examination with not less than 50% marks in Commerce subjects or Business Education from a recognized university.
For M.Ed. course eligibility, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Education with 50% marks from a recognized university (45% for SC/ST and PH students).
Admission to all postgraduate courses is based on the merit list prepared by Bangalore University and Management.
Bangalore City College Diploma Courses Admission 2024:
BCC offers full-time Diploma in Pharmacy and Diploma in Elementary Education courses. For the Diploma in Pharmacy Course, candidates must have completed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics from a recognized board.
For D.El.Ed Course eligibility, students should have completed PUC or an equivalent course with at least 50% marks from a recognized board (45% for SC/ST candidates).
Application Process
Students seeking admissions into Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate courses can apply online or offline. For the online mode, applicants can visit the Bangalore City College Official Website, fill out the application form, select the desired course, and submit the form after filling in all the required fields.
For the offline mode, candidates can send a handwritten application form with the same details as asked in the online application form to the correspondence address provided. Eligible candidates will receive confirmation about admission from the college, after which they need to pay the application fee to the college office. The fee can be paid via NEFT/RTGS/Cheque Transfer or by Demand Draft in favor of Bangalore City College, with the application fee being INR 1000.
