Facilities and Infrastructure:

The university campus spans an area of 8926 square meters and houses nine main buildings: Vidyasagar Bhawan, Centenary Building/Kadambini Bhawan, Chandramukhi Bhawan, Pritilata Bhawan, Annexe Building, Archive Building which hosts the Nivedita Prayer Hall, Auditorium Building, and the Administrative Building.  Of note, the administrative structure is a Heritage Building. The campus features landscaped lawns and scenic pathways bordered by trees.

Within the campus, there are a total of 52 classrooms and 29 laboratories. Among these classrooms, 15 are equipped with ICT facilities, six have wireless and LAN setups, and six are smart classrooms. Additionally, there are five seminar halls, one of which boasts state-of-the-art ICT facilities. The Centenary Building includes an elevator. The university canteen offers nutritious meals at a nominal price for both students and staff.

Library Facilities 

Bethune College library, an integral part of its heritage, holds a valuable collection of rare books. The library's location has shifted over time, initially situated in the Bethune School Hall. In 1940, when Bethune College moved to the Christ Church Building (now known as 'Vidyasagar Bhavan'), the library was relocated to the first floor of the building.  Separate libraries cater to Science and Arts subjects.

The college libraries are open-access and fully computerized using multi-user Linux-Fedora-based library software version 7.0 web edition. RFID technology has facilitated library automation since 2019. Department libraries have LAN access to the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). E-books and E-journals are accessible via the INFLIBNET-NList Consortium. Photocopying and browsing services are available in the libraries. The college also provides internet access with a bandwidth of 40 Mbps.

Sports Facilities:

The campus features a gymnasium and a badminton court. The playground is shared with Bethune School. Additionally, there is a Solar Power Plant within the university premises, and efforts are underway to transition to LED lighting for further energy conservation.

Classrooms Facilities 

Bethune College classrooms are equipped with advanced technology, fostering an interactive learning environment that facilitates effective comprehension of complex concepts. 

Laboratories Facilities 

The college maintains state-of-the-art science and computer laboratories, providing students with hands-on experience in various scientific fields and the latest technological advancements.  These laboratories play a crucial role in practical learning and research.

Cafeteria Facilities 

Bethune College's cafeteria offers a diverse selection of nutritious meals and snacks prepared under strict hygiene standards. It serves as a social space for students to enjoy their meals in a clean and pleasant environment.

Medical Facilities:

Prioritizing students' well-being, Bethune College in Kolkata has a dedicated medical room staffed with trained healthcare professionals who offer immediate assistance in case of illness or minor injuries.  Regular health check-ups are conducted to monitor students' overall health.
