Bharathiyar Institute Of Engineering For Women (BIEW, Salem) inculcates the very idea of preparing students to face various technical and nontechnical issues. The establishment of the Training and Placement Cell was a part of this mission to provide students with the platform to compete and succeed in the imperiousness and competitiveness of the global world. Activities of the Training and Placement Cell center on making strong relationships with Industries and exploiting the relationship for the personality and skill development of the graduating students through various interactive programs.
Training and Placement Cell strives to provide the best possible training and placement opportunities for the students. Students of Our College are receiving summer training in reputed Industries. We look forward to stronger collaboration with Industries so that deserving students can get the best platform to nurture their talents and improve their credibility for better placement prospects. Currently, T&P Cell is working on framing out newer policies to strengthen the industry–institute relationship to attract more and more companies.
Training
- The students are trained to attain the above objectives through a variety of programs run by the Placement and Training Cell such as:
- Corporate leaders from leading industries are invited regularly to interact with students.
- Various Training Programmes are organized to train the students in the areas of Aptitude, Quantitative Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal through the Reputed External Training centers.
- Technical training programs are being conducted by Technical experts.
- Language learning programs to train students in developing their communication skills using the language lab.
- Mock Interviews for students to perform well in professional interviews as per the expectations of the corporate world.
