Admission

As per the new Curriculum and Credit Framework (CCF) issued by The University of Calcutta for the Undergraduate Programme on 23rd June 2023, all Honours Programmes of studies shall be for a minimum duration of Eight (08) Semesters (4 years) with effect from the Academic year 2023-2024.

The nomenclature of the courses is subject to change, as per The University of Calcutta.

The University of Calcutta now uses the nomenclature Major for ‘Honours’ and Minor for ‘General Electives.’ In addition to this, the CCF has also introduced new courses such as Inter-Disciplinary Courses (IDC), and Common Value-Added Courses (CVAC).

Further detailed Notification regarding the same shall be informed to the Newly Admitted students in due course of time.
